After playing a bunch of Halo Reach, I was inspired by the art of the game and wanted to reimagine something with a level of detail and constraints similar to what Reach had. I decided on a Tau Fire Warrior from Warhammer 40k because we don't ever really get to see them in this much detail and with this much of a grounded, gritty style. I also would love a first-person shooter game where you play as a Fire Warrior (a newer and more modern take than the PS2 title), and this is kind of me scraping the surface of that fantasy, getting kind of a glimpse of what that dream could be like.
This project made good use of Oleg Ushenok's Mech Warrior Builder Kit 11 for some kitbashed details (and the whole backpack)
